You Talked and we listened. Beekeepers told us they wanted a heavy duty hive stand that had the option of having Built in Reservoirs, came standard with Tie-Down Hoops to keep top covers and hives from being blown or knocked over but most of all it had to be affordable.  Introducing our new Out-Back Hive Stands which are designed for the serious Beekeeper to keep ants and other crawling pest out of hives.

Features:

• Built In Rain Guards- All Out-Back Hive Stands come standard with Built in Rain Guards to aid in preventing blowing rain from flooding Reservoirs.

• Hurricane Tie-Down Hoops- All Out-Back Hive Stands come with Hurricane Tie-Down Hoops for strapping down hives to prevent high winds and animals from removing hive covers or knocking over hives.

• Holes Pre-Drilled in Base-  All Out-Back Hive Stands come with Pre-Drilled Holes to allow the use of treated wood skids to be added (we highly recommend placing hive stands on treated wood skids)

• Built in Reservoirs- Out-Back Hive Stands can be ordered with Duel built in reservoirs to prevent ants and other crawling insects from entering hives. The advantage to having two reservoirs is added strength and reservoir visibility. Reservoirs are easily seen from the sides of the hive with rain guards removed.

• Work Platform- The optional work platform is ideal for setting tools such as your Smoker, Hive Tool or Frame Puller on when the lid to hive is placed on top of the stand. Work Platform are sturdy enough to set Deep or Super Hive Bodies on during an inspection.

• Hive Frame Holder- A Hive Frame Holder is a must for every beekeeper. Gives a place to safely set frames during an inspection.

Zinc Clad Coating on Out-Back Hive Stand Reservoirs

All Out-Back Hive Stand Reservoirs are coated with a Zinc Clad Coating that aids in preventing rust before the finale Industrial Paint Coating is applied. Zinc Clad Coatings are actually what is called a self sacrificing coating to protect steel from rusting. The coating itself is attacked before allowing the steel to rust.

Row hive stands are ideal for getting colonies up and off the ground. Raised colonies prevent rodents and poisonous snakes

from nesting under colonies. Open bottom design is ideal for using screened bottom boards which also aids in ventilation on extremely hot days.

This stand is also ideal for Beekeepers that start Nucleus Colonies. No more getting down on the ground to access Nucleus Colonies.

This stand is designed to be extended as your apiary grows!

An extender kit is available for this stand which allows the Beekeeper to add additional sections as their apiary grows. To lengthen the stand the end brace is removed and replaced by a T-Section. The end brace that was removed is them moved to the outer end of the new section and bolted in place and a new center brace is then added. All hardware is included in the kit (Kit Sold Separately)

Row Hive Stands come with Hurricane Tie-Down Hoops and all hardware needed for assembly.

Note:  Ships in a Reddish Brown Primer which can be painted over or used as is.
